The SWAT and the SBLA are partnering with the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon to launch the Kinsmen Lacrosse League (KLL) for the Spring of 2020!
The Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon is running it's 2nd equipment drive at this week’s Saskatchewan Rush game for the Kinsmen Lacrosse League. If you forgot your gear the last game, you have another chance to clean house!
What can you Donate?
- used lacrosse sticks
- gloves
- helmets
- shorts
- running shoes
- arm guards
- shoulder pads
- rib protectors
- and other lacrosse equipment
No extra equipment, no problem. You can make a cash donation to the league.
There will be Kinsmen members stationed at each entrance accepting equipment donations and cash donations. In return for your generosity, you will receive an entry into a draw for various signed game worn pieces of equipment & jerseys from the Saskatchewan Rush.
Not Going to the Rush Game, no Problem!
If you have some equipment to donate and unable to get to the Rush game this weekend, visit Al Anderson’s Source for Sports (208 Avenue B S, Saskatoon) and find the Kinsmen Lacrosse bin at their store to deposit any equipment.
You can also check out the league’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/KinsmenLacrosseLeague/) and send a message to the league organizers. They will make arrangements to meet up to pick up your used lacrosse equipment.
The League will be starting with 8 teams from elementary schools within Saskatoon’s core neighborhoods, this league will give 120 students or more, at the elementary school level, an opportunity to learn the game of Lacrosse and stay physically active. Their games will be played at Kinsmen Arena on Saturdays!
Let’s give more kids the chance to take part in Canada’s National Summer Sport! See you on Saturday night at Sasktel Centre!
